So a few months ago I started a rabbit agility diary, which was lots of fun, but I realize that I never really finished it. WELL! She passed the first class with like 86/100 points. We did the next level and she passed that with 96/100. And now we’re onto our third class!
It’s so much fun. Right now we’re working on going up/over/down a bridge, going over an A-frame that is only a few inches in height, doing a straight and curved tunnel, and jumping! We do a straight jump, an oxer jump (two straights jumps lined up for width), a double jump (jump in and then jump out), and a jump that is spaced, meaning it goes bottom bar, space, top bar rather than a bar on each level. I challenged her last night and did a bar, space, space, bar, and twice she tried to go through instead of over, but I said ‘up’ ‘jump’ and she stood up and jumped over
I think she really enjoys it. We also practice voice cues like left, right, hop, and stay. I encourage anyone who has an opportunity to either pick up some books or go to a class to do so, it’s awesome!
If I ever get pictures I’ll post some.
