I think poor Finn is feeling a little under the weather bless him.

He didn’t want to come out for his run last night (Apart from a little investigation around Myrtles Crate) and he hasn’t eaten much of his mushed pellets or grated apple. He was eating Hay and pooping ok however. I know rabbits do munch on only hay if they are feeling a little off.

This morning before I left for work I gave him some tummy runs, and tried to release any excess gas by lifting his rear up. I also let him out in the bathroom to get him to move around.

I am going to see how he his tonight when i get home. If his the same Ill keep what I am doing as long as his eating hay, otherwise i have a vet on tap. He has been a little quite over the past few days and I am wondering if its the change with Myrtle arriving?

It could have sth to do with Myrtle. There is a component of stress involved when you bring in another rabbit. Not necessarily bad stress, just a stirring up of things.

I agree that as long as he’s eating hay he should be good. Perk up soon, (((((Finn)))))

Maybe he’s feeling under pressure because he wants to impress his new ladybun friend

Agree, a new bunny always unsettles things. As long as he’s eating and pooping, then I wouldn’t be too concerned.

Who wouldn’t want to impress Myrtle?

Yeah he has been excited. I am wondering weather to remove the cardboard from the front of create and use some NIC Gris as a small buffer. I am wondering his the blind date theme is causing him some anxiety lol. With the mess up from Cosy Pets I still don’t have my Pen so I will have to keep taking down her pen I am using the Grids for and re-building again.

Hope my little guy is ok. I hate having to go to work when they are not their perky self.

Another thing to add here is that Finn has always been an obsessive groomer (even when out of his cage). However his been grooming even more so last night and this morning (I know what your thinking lol).

Someone suggested a Lint Roller and Baby Wipes?
I am going to get him some Pineapple peaces this evening to help his gutt, but just wanted your take on the Roller?

I’ve heard quite a lot of people use a lint roller

                      How’s he doing now?

I am not sure yet, Ill know when I get home in the next couple of hours. I am seriously going to buy a camera so i can watch him through my mobile

I am thinking I may have to work out at home rather then go to the gym tonight. However Myrtle hates it when i do my Insanity work outs haha!

                        Can’t please everyone

The lint roller is great, it’s all that Atlas will tolerate, but it gets out so much loose fur, so efficiently. Not sure about baby wipes? I don’t think the chemicals in those would be good for them to ingest.

Also heard that pineapple skin is just as beneficial as pineapple pieces, and less sugar, although I haven’t tried it myself since I always cheat and buy pre-chopped pieces.

I was going to check if the pre chopped peaces where ok as may not be as fresh. I don’t think i could calve a whole pineapple. Id kill myself or loose a hand

As long as it doesn’t have any added sugar, I think it’s fine. Definitely not the tinned stuff though!

If you buy the pre-chopped pieces you can add the juice from the pot to his water bowl too

I can vouch for using a lint roller on my bun, works really well!

                                      His still pretty quite.
His eating and pooping fine, but he always appears sleepy and and hunched up and just grooming himself constantly.

I have put Myrtle away as its his turn to come out but again, but his doing this again.

I am wondering if his asleep as his has just this second done a big yawn and stretch and come out. But his not very active. He just sits between the wall and Myrtles Pen and it has been since Myrtle arrived. Its also obsessively licking EVERYTHING, especially Myrtles NIC Grids.

(note, he always looks like a little squirrel when he sits  . )

He is due to go to the vets next Saturday for his VH2 (He had his VH1 and Myxi a week ago, not sure if that would make him feel groggy?) so i will mention this to him. I am working from home tomorrow so I will pop him in tomorrow if I feel i need too.

Just wondering if any of you have had this?

Garf has just finished those jabs and I noticed the evening after having both he was a bit groggy but only for a few hours or so after

                                          I think his just lazy

I don’t think his in any pain as his eating and pooping. He just appears to be sleeping a lot. Maybe his lost sleep with the stress / excitement of Myrtle. Or it could be that my flat is no longer natural grounds for him so his not venturing around as much.

His never been a big binky bunny. Myrtle is more active then he is and she’s bigger

He rather just sit and groom himself

Vaccinations challenge the immune defense, so both buns and humans can feel a little off after having been vaccinated.

The constant licking could mean he’s lovelorn though. This beauuuuuuuutiful girl just moved in but won’t come out and play ?
