We picked up our first bunny from a breeder yesterday, and we’ve rabbit proofed (Took everything out) a room and given it to her.
Problem is, she seems to only hang around in her litter box, even though we spread hay across the entire floor
She also doesn’t move much, and kinda sits there moving her mouth really quickly.
Is she okay, or just lazy?
Also, the breeder told us she’s show quality, but since none of us really have much experience with bunnies other than my dad who’s only had regular ones, can anyone tell if the breeder was telling the truth?

She’s not lazy. She’s been taken into a completely new environment with new people. She needs to settle.

          Is she eating?

She is probably just scared, she needs time to adjust try not to bother her too much, as it can be a bit of sensory overload to have you hovering around her. Check on her and make sure she’s eating and pooping, but otherwise I would advise you to just give her a few days to settle in

Another question, does she have hidey boxes to retreat too so she feels safe? Often it’s best to limit their space at first and gradually increase so that they’re not to overwhelmed. Adding hidey boxes, tunnels etc can help them feel more secure.

                Thanks for the help guys!
Poro seems to have adjusted, and she’s been crawling on everyone
                Her claws hurt!
I don’t mind too much though, since she also a perky and loving bun who gives lots of kisses

Rabbit claws are designed to dig in deep, so they’ll hurt until you give her things to dig at or trim them. Sounds like she’s adapting though.
