I have a flemmish giant female who was born 4/7/16, I have an appointment to get her spayed next week as she keeps being territorial, (ie. Nipping the dogs, the cat, me for no reason, peeing on my couch, trying to get me off of the couch by nipping me, she actually also pees and poops on one of my dogs for some reason, ect.) I was wondering if that was too young to do it? My coworkers (I work at a vet clinic) said it’s fine because she weighs enough, but I just want to make sure she’s okay, also will I actually notice a difference in her after getting her spayed? What should I expect for the first few days? Is there anything important I should he doing before and after the surgery? This is my first rodeo so I just want to try to do everything right, but I also want her to calm down and realize that she’s not the boss and that I am, I’ve tried reprimanding her everyway I can think of and she’s just so stubborn! I love her and this whole situation is kind of funny to me because I just can’t believe the naughty things she does so I’ve been able to remain patient with her, but I know that it’s not okay and I know it’s not going to be funny when she’s much bigger and still doing these things!
