I’ve always fed two meals to try to match up to what a wild rabbit would do. A wild bunny would be grazing on plants throughout the day, but most active in the morning and evening, so I would expect them to eat the most at those two times.
I think as long as they have hay all the time though, it’s OK to feed veggies and pellets just once a day (I know some people here do that, and we do that when we have a pet-sitter).
alright then! i’ve always got her hay filled and i always rinse and refill her water daily, but when it came to the other parts of her diet i was just a bit confused.
i’ve started feeding her veggies when i get home (sometime in the afternoon) instead of in the early morning when i wake up, and i’ve noticed she doesn’t eat them right away, though it could be that they’re just getting old and soggy and i need to open the new boxes. i’ll just have to wait and see.
