  Hello! I’m new here but I’ve always loved binky bunny!
  My precious girl, Penelope, is KNOWN for being disastrous and spunky
  She’s cost me a ton of money too! Haha.
  I’ve had a couple incidences with her cutting her nails and then bleeding. Nothing ever too serious,
  But tonight she was running and she slightly caught her foot on a dining room hitch.
  It bled a bit but I managed to get a couple of dabs of warm water and a very tiny amount of peroxide on the cut.
  She didn’t even try to lick it, didn’t seem hurt and was still being playful so I’m not very worried about her being in pain.
  However, it’s a tiny cut on her back foot! Should I just keep an eye on it?
  She really is acting just fine! thanks!!
  I’d also love suggestions on what’s best to use if she ever cuts her litte paw again. Which I hope not!

  For superficial wounds, peroxide is ok. For deeper cuts, never use peroxide (it can foam inside a wound and in unlucky circumstances, airbubbles can get into the bloodstream), but rather some (dilated) compound that has iodine. For small wounds, saline eyewash for humans (or other 0.09% saline of couse) will often do just fine. Triple antibiotic ointment (without an added painkiller) can be used on rabbits, but small wounds tend to heal very well on their own.
