It’s been awhile since I’ve had any buns running around my house (and running my life) but it feels good to be a bunny slave again. My fiance K took me to a pet store last week to look around and saw I looked at this little lop eared bun and decided we should get it. He snuggled her(?) all the way home.
Fast forward a week later and we are going to the movies in the mall. There’s a little pet store with outrageous prices but we decided to look around. They had one rabbit left, a REW. I already knew that these don’t get adopted as often due to looks. The lady comes over and starts -essentially trying to sell us this rabbit. She told us that he had been there for over a month and he was really friendly. He was socialized very well didn’t mind K picking him up.
We went to go see the movie and then we passed by him as we were leaving (car was parked on that side of the mall) and he just gave me this sad look and I knew I couldn’t leave him there. Well, we took him home and we have been getting all kinds of kisses already.
They’re both really friendly to the cats: Princess Snowflake (male) and Sir Hugo Razorpaws (also male)
We also have a dog: Jager, a german shepherd/ Lab mix

Snowflake and Bon Bon (They’re twins!)

More pictures to come!
We actually go a huge dog crate and only had them in this while were setting it up. We also bought extra cages because we are planning on adding a second floor to the crate that way they can be together but separate. I’ve already spoke to him and we agreed that if “Todd” is definitely a boy that we’d get him fixed. I just have to do a bit of research and may have to take them both to the city for the procedure but I’m looking into it. Small rural area- people look at you a little funny when you say you want your rabbit spayed.
