                peeeppeeppeeppeeppeeppeep…lolz
We had ducks (and chickens) when we first got up here. My favorite duck was this little odd colored brown who was the only one of his kind that we got, he would follow me everywhere. I think he imprinted on me as his mum.

Hm..that last one doesn’t look like it can swim. ^_^

Actually, you’d be surprised that buns are pretty good swimmers. Some actually like it but most prefer to stay away from the water since they are nowhere near as agile in the water as on land.

Really? Gosh, everything I’ve read says they can’t swim at all. Not that you’d want to get your bunny soaking wet of course, but it’s good to know they won’t just sink like a stone. (hopefully)

I love duckies! I had a pet duck at one point in my childhood I can kind of remember him.

I LOVE ducks. And babies are even cuter!

My mom has a male and female duck who decided to take over her pool. She is not happy about it because the pool is full of gross green duck “business”. That will be fun to clean out come pool season!!!! They are so cute though. I love watching them swim in the pool. I think it’s so adorable how they mate for life.

I’ve seen youtube vids of rabbits swimming – in a backyard pool! Of course it must just be few that are ok with it. Total saturation, chlorine etc.

I SO want to paste a bill on that last one!! Don’t you go teaching her how to quack – I’m sure you’ll regret it at 4 in the morning.

                            You quack me up.

This morning we looked outside and these ducks were up closer on my part of the lawn, then a new mother with a whole string of about 10 brand new babies walked over! I think the word is out that I am taking pix and they were showing off the new bunch.

Naturally I obliged and took some pix, but have to take the camera to work first and will see if they’re good later today. The older group are becoming very fast swimmers.

Rabbits can swim? Don’t give Cotton and Ruby any ideas…
I wouldn’t want them in a pool with chlorine.
