        Sorry to bug you guys with more food questions but I saw some pictures that

        were posted on a website of bunnies and I think they were enjoying some Pumpkin…

        I was wondering if it is safe? Cause that would be so exciting seeing how its October

        and Pumpkins are everywhere! I love Halloween!

          They can eat fresh pumpkin. However it’s not as effective as canned pumpkin.
          Canned pumpkin is pasterized, but that just means that it has been heated.
          Not sure about the seeds, so to be safe I would not feed it have fun!!!

            I too would avoid the fresh pumpkin and really I am not sure if they are treated with any pesticides or whatnot. You can bake it though and make it into a mush. Definately a no with the seeds, seeds and nuts conatins lots of starch and can cause a blockage and they may contain trace amounts of un bunny-friendly things.

              I’ve also heard that pumpkin should be cooked first!
