I have a few little pumpkins I used for decorations that I would like to give my rabbit before they go bad, and am wondering if it’s ok for her to have the seeds or if I should clean them out first. I eat the seeds, so I know they’re not toxic, but I suppose there’s lots of things I eat that aren’t good for bunnies.

The concern with giving her the seeds isn’t toxicity, it’s that they are very high in fat and protein. Humans tolerate much much more fat and protein in our diets than rabbits.

Pumpkin pulp is perfectly healthy for a bunny. My bunny refuses to eat it, but I know other bunnies will.
