  poopy- did you adopt medusa from Los Angeles Rabbits… the one 2 Cetinela Feed… 3860 Centinela Ave?
  
  I’m in LA now (I’m from burbank, but go to school in chicago) and looking at the CL here… and there’s a pic of a bunny that looks just like medusa.. even with the crooked face… is it her??

  yup! her original name was Caramella. she does have a crooked face…apparently when they took her to the vet he didn’t think it was a problem. i palpated her jaw it just feels like the bones are formed asymmetrical from each other. are you looking for another bun to adopt from them?

  that’s so crazy I found your bunny! No, I didn’t adopt from them. Fujoe is in Chicago.. that’s where I got him, and that’s where I live too. But I’m here for two weeks visiting family and home for the holidays. I want to get him a girl friend, but I don’t know if I’ll be staying in Chicago after I graduate in May or if I’ll be coming back to LA.. so after I figure that out, then I’ll get him a friend. Is that the only rescue in LA? Are they good? I noticed they have a lot of bonded pairs..

  did Fujoe come with you for the holidays? another rescue group is bunnyluv.org but they are so slow…they haven’t called me back and its been 3 weeks. since then i got medusa anyways. i like LA rabbits because they know about each rabbit’s habits so you know what you’re getting into vs. if you go to a county/city shelter you know nothing about the rabbit

  No.. he’s not with me. He stayed in Chicago. It would have been way too stressfull for him to have come with me. So he’s at my boyfriend’s manager’s place..she’s bunny sat before and has had a bunny in the past…
  
  I MISS FUJOE!! I’m such a dork…my family is getting a kick out of the stories I’ve been telling them.. my dad keeps cracking jokes about cooking him in wine- we’re Italian, so it’s the thing to do. Except I haven’t eaten rabbit in years and get really angry whenever he says to keep Fujoe fat so he’ll be juicy… grrr.

  My father jokes about cooking Sophie in a stew pot. The jokes never stop. But that’s why they’re our dads. I will tell you though, my dad was in the USMC for over 20+ years (yes, I am a Marine Brat) and he’s the first one to defend my bunny to people when they look at me like I am slightly off. His fave comeback is "my daughter’s rabbit is smarter than yuor honor student" or "your dog should be this well trained" I LOVE MY DAD!!!!

  my dad also used to joke about putting our old bun in a stewpot…bless him he thought it was funny x but now we have two he doesn’t tend to do it… maybe he feels two will gang up on him or something????

  my bf jokes (but he’s actually serious) about drop kicking my hamster on the 405 and skining Medusa alive….he’s allergic….but he also refuses to take allergy medicine, which i think is stupid

  odd how only a few people on tihs forum got the 405… I guess if it was at 4:05pm then there would be enough traffic that the hampster can run across the freeway and seek shelter at the ghetty… or at the skirball… or even make it to venice! maybe… maybe not…

  It’s extra fuzzy right now too .. he started an explosion molt yesterday. Our cat didn’t give off so much fluff when she was shedding!!! AAAAaaaaaaagggggggggghhhhhhhhhh!! Hope he finishes quickly or we might be buried in the stuff.

  Jenna, did you mean to post your pics in this thread? There’s a more recent bunny butt thread in the Lounge that I linked this one into. You’ve given this thread a 3 year bump – Wow! I just saw Chubs butt in that thread but still not Comet. The tail end of a Comet can be hard to capture on film eh?. ;o)
