He is pretty cute, I’ll admit… And I think I said this in the beginning but I wasn’t even thrilled with the idea of grey for some reason…I was more into the brokens, but I absolutely love his coloring now. Plus it’s so hard to have a white bunny stay white…Oreo does not look so good after dusting my floors with her feet….

it was so funny! she was binkying all over the front rm, and this is the only pic that was any good!!!

 

the dining rm is almost finished so she will be moving in to there then with her cage and ex pen. she’s only in her cage when we have 2 go out or when we go 2 bed, but she’s in and out of there all day jumping about!! we took her out with 1 of the dogs 2day and it went really well. gypsy was trying 2 mothere her!!! so 1 down, 3 to go!!!!

I’ll add some of Leroy and Jeannie in the next few days… just have to find time to lurk around the buns with the camera for several hours to capture something cute.. They know when I have the camera and they always thwart my attempts to take pictures. The other day, I walked into their room, and found both of them flopped out on their side and Leroy had his head laying on Jeannie’s tummy! It was so cute, I almost squealed outloud, but instead I ran for the camera and as soon as I came back with it, they popped up and gave me the stink eye.

jerseygirl – ChaCha is a black otter Netherland Dwarf. Her mama was what people call a ‘false dwarf,’ because she lacks the typical physical traits of a dwarf rabbit. Chacha has the same traits – longer ears, arms, slightly bigger head. I think silver martens are heavier than dwarf bunnies. False dwarfs tend to be about 3 pounds. True dwarfs are 1.5-2 pounds. She is her adult weight already, lol. Shes 3 pounds, 11 oz.

No, they hate to be petted. Peaches is very gentle though and easy to hold. I haven’t tried to hold Peppermint in awhile and only to trim his nails. I try to respect their wishes.

They were bonded when I got them – they were strays that someone rounded up. The night before his neuter Peppermint got humpy so they were separated for that one night only. Peppermint was a baby when I got him and Peaches was a young adult so I figured they must be mother/son.

Eddie being all lovey dovey to Lollipop.   (and no, they’re not that well potty trained.  I think they keep marking cause every time I vacuum, Lolli has to come out and poop)

 

Eddie likes to make a “potty spot” before he goes.  Funniest thing ever.  LOL   So here he is digging his “spot”.    Now they have one cage bottom as a litter box and I put their hay on top of the litter.  I need to take video of him “patting his spot” where he scoots the hay around and then turns around goes.  Never knew a rabbit could be so fussy about peeing/pooping.  Lolli just hops in and goes.  LOL

That is exactly how he is! He has this stink eye that just radiates! He does think that he is entitled to EVERYTHING! If I have a bag of crackers, treats, anything in a bag that crinkles on my nightstand he will jump up on on them and steal the bags and bolt! Yesterday he managed to grab a whole bag of cheez-its off my night table an bolt! He climbed onto the coffee table to steal the treat bag, and the papaya tablet lid, just the lid, and make a run for it. Just sneaky and quick!

My mom bought me this shelving unit to keep my dad’s books on. She thought 3 shelves would be enough. I promptly informed her that no matter how many shelves it had, we needed to minus one for two reasons. 1) anything on the bottom shelf would become Boston’s snack and 2) Boston would claim the bottom shelf as a nap area!

I’m not sure she’s trying to become a frog, or cool off.

OK, maybe this next one isn’t Frankie, but it’s just for giggles… the guy I’m dating-ish had a weird idea of a snail/unicorn/rabbit one morning so we both drew one (this is his)… I decided it should leave ice cream cones in its slime trail and he decided there needed to be an octopus in on the fun. For some reason I thought the octopus needed a popsicle, so it has one. I swear we were sober.

I always love pics of Frankie….just can’t get over his ear!!! I came across a bunny that was a great big guy that looked just like Frankie…ear, coloring, everything. I even convinced my boyfriend that we should get him! had a name picked out (Big Papi—aka David Ortiz from the Red Sox to stick with our Boston theme) and when I went back to get him, he was gone!!! But thats ok, I think Boston is enjoying being an only child, I just love Frankie and his ear!!

I saw the jack rabbit again tonight at the marina. I’ve decided to name him Jack for now. His ears are HUGE!!!!! It was about 10pm and I was stalking him around the boats that were out of the water. He was digging around being cute. He sooned spotted me or rather heard me and ran away 100 mph. Lol crazy guy.
