FORUM HOUSE RABBIT Q & A post neuter poops.

        So, merlin got neutered yeaterday. After a lethargic evening, i checked on him this morning and YAY!! Empty food bowl and poops scattered in litter tray. They were moatly normal poos, but there was one small clump of dark sticky poop. Are these his edible poos,or a natural reaction to getting rid of anesthesia?

          A bit of both probably, it’s not unusual to have an odd assortment post surgery such as tiny dry ones to a few loose ones but they should generally be back to normal within 48 hrs.
          Sounds like he is bouncing back nicely.
