I’m concerned Jackon may have megacolon. His poops are very odd shaped. I’ve attached two photos of his most recent poops.

I’m calling to set up a vet appointment tomorrow to get him in as soon as possible I was just hoping to get some more opinions.

His behavior is great he is very energetic and eats and drinks often.

There isn’t anything to show size. But just looking at this, it just looks like misshapen poops. Does he eat enough hay?

            Sorry about that

He seems to be eating lots of hay. I have it in multiple places around his room so he’ll run into it more often. He spends lots of his time eating when I’m around, but I guess I don’t know how much they should generally be eating. He has unlimited hay and I give him a variety to entice him. I’m probably just worrying too much lol.

A bun should eat a pile of hay approximately as big as he is every day.

His poops are a beautiful colour and surface texture, confirming what you said: he’s likely eating enough hay. But they are not megacolon poops from what I can tell. The variety in size and shape, though, could indicate a lack of exercise or stress (even an episode of being startled by a strange sound or smell can throw off poo shape/size for a bit).
