  Alfie’s been acting kind of weird today. He hasn’t been eating his hay, hasn’t been pooping very much, his ears are cold etc. I’m worried it might be a bout of gas, so I was going to give him some simethicone because I figured it couldn’t hurt, if it gets worse I’ll take him to the vet in the morning. However, I only have simethicone tablets and I don’t know if it’s okay to give him, I feel like most people usually just have the infant drops. I have 125 mg tablets, does anyone know how much of a tablet I can give him/if I can give him the tablets at all? I also have leftover Metacam from his neuter, should I administer it if I think he might be in pain?

  Call the vet and ask them if you can use the tablets and eventually how to calculate the dose ^^ quicker & more reliable than to wait for someone to answer here.
  If he shows signs of pain you can give him metacam, yes.
