To make a long story short, my baby girl ( 14 weeks, and getting spayed on Feb 9) has been non stop at her ears clean ing and scratching them, I even see her sometimes hop away with her had on a tilt?! Please shed  some light fellow bun lovers!

She is a mini plush lop! I’d love to post a pic but for some reason it won’t let me!

        Thanks in advance.

        Sara.

She’s being spayed at 15 weeks?

Intense ear itching is more associated with ear mites than allergies usually. Can you see any “dirt” in her ears? Even if you can’t see anything though, it doesn’t mean there aren’t mites.

It sounds like an ear infection or mite, especially since lops are more prone to it. It’s pretty unusual for an allergy to cause a scratching reaction. It’s typically a nasal discharge (stuffy nose) for allergies.

Having a head tilt in addition also suggests an ear infection. I definitely recommend a vet appt with a rabbit/exotic vet.
