  I noticed yesterday that Oreo was very wet on the side of her face and on her dewlap. I know that drooling can be a sign of dental problems, but I am not sure that she is drooling. I recently switched the rabbits over to a cream bowl, and sometimes I know she dips her head far too deep into the dish, getting water all over her chin and ears. This time she’s stayed wet for almost a whole day, though. So, I’m just not sure if she is drooling or if she just pushed her ace too far into the dish again.
  
  She was just in the vet a few months ago to have her teeth checked. I’m planning on taking her to the vet just to make sure there are no problems with her teeth, but will have a very hard time making it out this weekend as none of the vets around me are open, besides an emergency vet 45 minutes away.
  
  She is still eating, drinking, pooping and playing normally. So I’m wondering if this is something that can wait until monday for a vet visit, or is it serious enough that I should make my way out to the emergency vet tomorrow morning?

  We deal with dental issues all the time with Bramble. The advice from the vet is always that if he is still eating/peeing/pooping its not an emergency but would need dealt with soon so waiting for the weekend to be over doesn’t seem unrealistic as long as she continues to eat normally. A few months makes a massive difference to their teeth, Bramble gets three monthly check ups on his teeth and still sometimes has to be rushed to the vet in between checks to have an emergency dental because he stops eating.

  I think waiting until Minday should be okay if she’s acting normally otherwise.
  Be aware that if she does have a dental pain, she may be putting her face in the water to soothe.
  So a vet check is certainly warranted. They really need to lightly sedate rabbits to get a proper look at the molars. But vets can sometimes tell by checking with otoscope and seeing if the surrounding tissue is inflammed.
  
  If she has some dental problems, see about having some pain meds you can keep at home to give for any times in future that she has discomfort from it.
