Possible bunny pregnancy?

Hello! This is my first post so i have no idea if i am posting this in the right place and doing this on my phone only makes it more complicated! However, i have heard alot about this site through friends and thought now would be a good time to use it. Today i caught a “wild” bunny. I use quotes because the bunny was domesticated and had human interaction but was released by my last careless neighbor about a year ago. Since then she has had 2 litters that we caught at about 5-6 weeks old. They were all given to good, caring homes but its been a constant struggle to try and catch the mother so she will not continue to reproduce… This weekend we had found a nest lined with hair so we assumed it was hers. As soon as my neighbor returns home in about 30 min he plans on checking the nest to see if she already had her babies. But in the case she didnt i have no idea what im doing! I want to de-stress her as much as i can and make sure her and the babies are safe. Any info on pregnant bunnys and how to care for them after would be much appreciated! Also if we do find a nest of babies and they are alive can i put them in with her? Thank you so much!

If you have already caught her then keep her some where quiet. If there are babies in the nest when you check collect every thing, as much of the nest as possible and bring the lot. Is she the only bunny about ? Just in case you don’t want to nab some one elses buns. The fur in the nest should give you and indication. Give mummy unlimited food so she can produce milk. If she hasn’t kindled yet she will be looking for a safe spot. Make sure she has a box sealed up with a hole in the front and lots of paper and hay to fill it with.
