I was at a pet store and saw popcorn for rabbits. They can eat it on the cob or you can pop it and give them popcorn.

Is this even safe for bunnys?

        Just curious

No, popcorn is not considered safe for bunnies. They shouldn’t be having grains anyway, and the hull of the kernel is indigestible which makes corn a risk for blockages. Popped or on the cob corn is a no, no.

I didn’t think so. It is sad this is being marketed to owners as a safe treat. ?

Yes, unfortunately it happens all the time with this sort of thing. It’s very misleading for new owners trying to do the best for their pets.

I know right, some people dont know and buy them. Then the bunnies become unhealthy and sick. The best treats are in your kitchen. Apples and Banana are 2 that rabbits love. Mine will do anything if a bite of banana is involved.???
