Yesterday I Bought The NIC Cubes And Made TigerLily As Big A Cage Which I Could Fit In My Room.

I bought Her a new litter pan and a new food bowl. I’ve had Unlimited Timothy Hay and Pellets Available to her since it says at House Rabbit Society that Babies should have this.

This morning I woke up to find HUGE cecals in her cage, I guess she is not eating them because theyre still there. Im going on Vacation on Thursday and have hired a Pet Sitter to take care of TigerLily and the Dogs.

        Does anyone have any advice?

she is a bit over 3 months. I had fed her some Basil weeks ago but she got poopy butt and I havent tried any other herbs because im scared to make her sick. She has Unlimited Timothy Hay and unlimited Pellets. Nothing else.

I wouldn’t change her diet now then when you are leaving – it’s a bit hard to tell really if she’s only 3 months old and is on a limited diet. I think as long as she continues to eat you should be okay.

I think I would watch her for the next few days to see if this is going to continue to occur since so far it has only happened once.

Did you give the petsitter her vet information too in case she needs to see a vet while you are gone on vacation?

yes, I left her a note detailing Serious Bunny Syndromes and Illness for which she would have to take her to the VET ASAP. Luckily, she used to have a house rabbit and she stops by twice a day to feed and take out my dogs so I told her to keep an eye on the Bunny.

The vet is 3 minutes away too. I think i worry too much I am always afraid that she has something wrong with her, she is a brave little Bun she doesnt get startled or scared, she walks right up to the dogs when she is in her pen and tries to lick them through the cage. I think this baffles our dogs.

Lately she has been getting destructive with her cage I am scared she is reaching sexual maturity and will not like me anymore once she does we are getting her spayed in November which is the Earliest the vet will do it.

Sometimes she does an ear twitch and half nods her hed, is this normal? She does it a few times and then stops and hops happilly away, i have looked into her ears but she has nothing there. Its hard to tell what is typical bunny neurotic behavior and what can be something mroe serious.

have u changed her diet over the last few days? the amount of anything or the brand? this could be it, but it may also be because they are eating more now they have more room to roam.

i did buy the Target Animal Planet brand Timothy Hay, because I ran out of the Petco Brand and was at Target where I bought her NIC Cubes. I did not think of this, I didn’t think the brand matttered as long as it was the same type of Hay.

I wouldn’t think the brand would matter at all, especially if its the same type of hay. Perhaps her tummy is just super sensitive. In which case, in the future, you’ll want to be EXTREMELY careful about introducing any new foods.

it usually doesnt, but if they are extremley sensitive then it may do just due to the quality or whatever

I guess that, that is it. She is Sensitive

From now on I think I will just buy the Timothy Hay at Target its closer to my house and 4 dollars cheaper. I think she is doing fine now, i hand fed her some pellets even though she has been eating on her own and shes been eating hay, i checked her box and havent found any mroe cecals so i guess she is either eating them or not passing them anymore. Her poop seems fine.

                          Thank you everyone!!!
