Please help baby bunny has only one eye open

What can  i do to help bunny open other eye it is 2 weeks old should i bathe eye in warm water???  Id hate this bunny too lose sight in one eye.

From the sources I looked at below.. I would say YES open your baby bunny’s eye.. either by massage and then physical opening.. or warm water.. and opening..

At 10-12 days old, bunnies’ eyes open. Once a while, a bunny has problem in opening one or both eyes by itself. By the 13th day, if the eyes are still not unopen, I’ll wet the bunnies’ unopen eyes, lightly massage a little then use my fingers to open them. If left without help, the unopen eyes may be become blind.

Hi! Were you able to try LillyBear’s advice? If its not working, I have a couple rescue friends that I will ask some advice from, we have been saving a lot of mom buns in Garden Grove recently so we’ve got a lot of little buns running around! It seems like LillyBear found some excellent advice tho, so I hope it is working OK.

Yes perfect advice warm water gently on their eyes with a flannel opened them up perfectly!!

All going well this end with baby buns, though have never seen Thunder our newly neurtered male sooooooooo quiet he wont even venture out of cage?  Its been 2 days since op is that normal?

Hi! Is Thunder eating OK?  Usually males recover from the neuter quite a bit faster than the females, but of course it depends on the bunny, so he could just be having a longer recovery time.  Make sure that he is eating food and drinking water, if you notice he is not doing either one of these, please post and let us know, I know a lot of people (including myself) have had to deal with bunnies have a little bit of trouble getting their appetite back after surgery.  Here are just a few quick tips:

1) Feed him treats and veg that you know he likes (with cilantro and parsley, I always break the stem so the bunny can smell the veg!)
2) Mash up pellets with water (1 part pellets 2 parts water is what I usually do) and syringe feed this to the bunny
3) Add a bit of apple juice to the water to make it more appetizing, or syringe feed water

so glad to hear Lilybear’s suggestion worked- that’s great.

Its actually good if he’s taking it easy post neuter for a few days, since you don’t want him to over do it. But, if he’s not eating or if he is posturing like he’s in pain or grinding his teeth – then it’s cause for concern. How’s he doing today?

Hi! My baby bunny Houdini (because he escapes) only has one eye open right now. He is about 10 weeks old. One eye is completely fine but his left eye is almost completely closed shut. What should I do to reopen it?
