        I want some ideas for things to put out for the bunnies during playtime. I need more ideas on things they can to do let out some energy! (mainly Pinky LOL wild little thing). If you guys could share pics of your playtime area or items that would be great! Or comment if that’s easier. I’m just using my bedroom for them to exercise in. I’m also trying to find a carpet for them to play on, couldn’t find anything in my town. I might have to look online, suggestions are welcomed! Thanks. 🙂

          Oh also if anyone knows where to find a big litter box or bin that would be great. I looked at stores in my town for storage bins but none were wide enough for Muffin. There were long ones but not the best width. I want him to be able to sit horizontally and vertically, since that’s what he always does but he stands halfway in a lot… Thank you.

            I use a larger cat box… I am not sure where you live but I got mine at a general pet store.

            As for play areas, Dorian pretty much just free roam, he does have a couple of tubes and a card board box in the living room (one of the tubes get’s put out on the deck for when he has access to that area) and then there are rabbit toys pretty much everywhere as well as blankets for him to flop. I don’t have a good one handy of indoors, but here is the deck one… it’s an older picture so it’s better set up now. He has a hay litter box out there instead of just the little basket and I cleaned up the area with the plants and added to NIC grids so he would not chew the railings in certain areas. Anyway it should give you a basic idea 🙂

              @PrinceDorian Thank you! What a cute photo with his face in the basket LOL. I love the cat tunnel. I’ve been looking for one! I have the biggest cat litter boxes I can find right now lol. What kinds of rabbit toys do you use? I mostly give them cardboard tp tubes and cardboard toys I make. They’ve also got some toy balls from the pet store. Thanks. 🙂

                Hardware stores are a good place to look for big litter boxes. They usually have an assortment of storage bins, or if you need a really huge one, concrete mixing tubs are great for big bunnies and bonded pairs.

                My buns also really like tunnels, cardboard cat scratchers, and willow baskets/wreaths. The “barrel roller” toy is also very popular with bunnies that like to toss. Baby stacking cups are fun to hide pellets in and watch them toss them around. 🙂

                  @DanaNM Thank you!! I’ll look at a hardware store then. Those are good ideas. 🙂 Where did you get your baby stacking cups? I can only seem to find the basic ones on Amazon for about $15 Canadian. I found these ones for about $7, are these ones okay? Says they’re for the bath.

                    I think I got mine on Amazon as well. I have some that are just super simple, and have another set that is like these stacking rings that are also kind of a cup (if that makes sense?) that are pretty fun for them as well!

                        @prince dorian the bun – I have that exact same cat tunnel! We put an oxbow hay tunnel inside of it, and Thor has been having a blast digging and destroying inside of it for months now. Also, I’m super jealous of your outside space 🙂

                        We also have those stacking cups, they are a huge hit! Here’s an older picture of Thor’s bunny area complete with satisfied bunny (after making a huge mess), stacking cups and pinecone.

                          <3 Thor!

                          That’s a good idea with putting a tunnel within a tunnel! Ideal for bunstruction! When I get extra brown packing paper I stuff it into their tunnels as well for them to excavate. 🙂

                            the hay in the tunnel is a great idea @Thorbunny! Also Thor looks very content!

                            @moonlightbunny
                            I got the tunnel on Amazon I believe. He isn’t always really into most toys, but I have gotten wicker balls that he seems to enjoy (Binkybunny store has a nice selection). He has one fancier toy that I call the molecule (no idea what it is really called, that’s just what it reminds me of) that he will cary about and occasionally play with or try to hand to me. It’s rare, but super cute when he does (if you look at my profile photos it is in one of the photos). I actually did one of those monthly bunny subscriptions as it gives me a chance to see what he likes and test out some different things, though I think a lot of basically free toys are just as good.

                              @ThorBunny What an adorable bunny! 😊 Thanks for the pics! And good idea with the tunnel. He looks content with his mess.

                              @princedorian Thank you!! I’ll check Amazon. My bunnies like wicker balls too. But they are destroyed in a day lol. I was looking at those bunny subscription boxes before, tempting… 😄
