I accidentally bought the cat pine pellet litter on small pet select instead of the rabbit one. Both basically seem the exact same, on the site both say kiln dried and no phenols or additives. Is the cat one safe for my bunny?

According to the SPS customer service (I used their Live Chat, haha) and they said they are the same exact product, so it should be all right.

FYI, if you have a feed shop in your area, the same type of pine pellets are also sold as horse stall bedding. I get mine for $9 for a 40lb bag. Wood stove pellets are also the same thing and are cheap too (as long as they don’t have additives).

Exactly. It was probably a fortunate mistake for you in the end.

Apparently it’s the same with yesterday’s news. The cat one is cheaper but it’s the same product.
