Thanks.
I’m feeling much better today already, although I did throw my back out again, so I guess it’s just a rough luck week for me.
Diva was… well, I wouldn’t say she was high energy, but she was certainly a diva. Quite smart and even more sassy. Total alpha-female. Picked fights with the 200-lb giant breeds at the park when she was a 20lb puppy (one of them sat on her to put her in her place!). Wouldn’t listen to anyone if she didn’t feel like it. Ran off all the time and ignored us. Ate $50 bills when we went on vacation. Regularly ate house plants if we did anything else she didn’t like, so she would barf on the floor. Funny in hindsight, not at the time! But despite all the misbehaving she was really very sweet, super friendly with people. I was walking her off leash one day and a car rolled up, door open, and tried to dog-nap her. She was climbing in, too, that’s how much she liked and trusted people.
Half Dalmation half Australian Blue Tic Healer, we think. She was an adoptee that resulted from somebody having a whoopsie with their Dalmation girl, but with her muddy markings, one half standing ear, and herding instincts it sounds believable. Oh, and the neighbor having an unfixed Aussie. Oh well, someone’s oops was our gain.
Bun’s whole litter looked just like him. I’ve never seen another bunny like that, since, though.
