Yes her hair is as short as Mizu and Umi’s along her sides but then really long around the face and bottom! Her hair is long and strong on the top of her head, over an inch which in the picture is down her back! Maybe I’ll style it!
I did some research and aparently they were developed in Europe 10 years ago, a cross between a Lionhead and a Holland Lop! They think Koori will be bigger than Mini Lops but surely the small lionhead gene will make her smaller. I guess it depends how big Holland lops are, or whatever else their crossed with!
I don’t know if it’s the bunny or the breed but Koori is so friendly, she nudges my hand for strokes and teeth purrs and I’ve only had her a few days. Is she really that unique? Is that because she’s a lionlop or is she unusual for her breed. I haven’t been able to find many photos of them.
Thanks Sarita, the names are japanese and they mean water, river and ice! It’s a pain in the vets though as they never know how to pronouce them so they just spell them out!
