I gave some rose petals to the bunnies today and I was able to get some pics of them snacking on them. Except for Cotton- I did not have the camera when she was eating her rose petals. But I got some good pics of her- you can even see the scar on her nose she got when she was a baby at the petstore and had to be separated from her littermates. (I guess that should have warned me that she was one feisty, diva-like bunny!)
You can see in Griffin’s pics how long his legs are! In one pic he is stretched out to get a Craisin from my husbands hands- and in the other he is sitting on his back feet eating a rose petal- but it shows how long his front legs are. Compared his legs to Cottons legs is funny because she is a typical short compact Mini Lop, and he is a typical long English Lop.
And Schroeder has such a cute face- he was eating the rose petals so fast I barely had time to hand him one and snap a pic before the petal was gone!

Ohhh those pictures are ADORABLE!! Your bunnies are so cute! Cotton and Shroeder have great facial expressions and I love Griffin’s ears!! CUTE ![]()
Aww Schroeder looks like he’s singing for his rose petals ![]()
AAAaww they’re so cute!
I love those long ears! And the last picture
! I would frame it, that petal in the mouth
too cute
OMG! I just fell in love with Cotton!! That sweet face must get her whatever she wants… what a cutie pie. And I’ve always been a sucker for long, stretched out bunny legs. I agree with Guily about that last pic, too. Your buns are too cute!
Love the rose petal pictures. In that photo of Griffin he reminds me of the Star Wars character Jar Jar Binks (but much better looking) because of the ears (Jar Jar had those massive ears too). I wonder if Jar Jar’s look was based on an English Lop’s looks.
I think Jar-Jar Binks was totally based on an English Lop!!
Great Pics – what a cute family.
The moment I saw Cotton I fell in love with her adorable face- and everytime I see her, even now, her squishy face makes my heart melt. So I don’t think I will ever get over how adorable she is. And she is the one who started all this “bunny madness”- I was not even interested in owning a rabbit until I met her.
I have seen parts of the Star Wars Movie and I think the character must be based on an English Lop….. how else would would they come up with the name (Jar Jar) BINKS (like a binky).
From the pics you would probably never guess it- but the bunnies were disappointed that there were no Craisins- I made the mistake of putting them in the same little dish so they were expecting Craisins. But once they got over their disappointment they decided to chow down!
Katnip, is the little lop in the first couple of photos Cotton? I have to say she’s my favorite. What is her coloring called? *kisses* for Cotton…
I just died from seeing so much cuteness in one post
Don’t die, katiehedger! You have so many bunnies to live for!
Haha i’ve been very emo recently. crying without sophie’s babies, dying over C, S & G.

Oh, but what a way to go!
OMG the EARS!!!! they are the biggest ears ive ever seen so cute! ![]()
ADORABLE! where do you get them safe rose petals?
What cuties! I laughed about the Schroeder singing thing, it does look like it! Cottom reminds me of Chubs with different coloring, he is a dollface. And I love the ears on Griffin! What a cute brood
Where did you get rose petals? I was always curious where to get those and dandelions?
Yup, that is Cotton is the first 2 pics! I am not sure what her coloring is- I know it is some type of “shading” but not sure what exactly- and she also has a darker grey spot over her left eye.
I got the rose petals off of one of the rose bushes in our yard- so I know that they are not treated with any chemicals. It must be pretty easy to grow roses since I have the opposite of a “green thumb” and so does hubby- and our roses seem to do well. We planted 2 bushes about 4 years ago and since they were doing well- we planted 2 climbing rose and another rose plant this summer.
The plant in particular that I got those flowers from my husband dumps the “used” freshwater fish tank water on since it is right outside the front door- and it is a monster- he said he read somewhere that it is great fertilizer and it must be!
I am an absolute sucker for Lops- I guess that is obvious from the pics!
Oh I love them all! They are all so cute and you can totally tell they have such interesting personalities! Such perfect little bunnies!![]()
Too darn cute, and those ears still amaze me. I think because Bun’s are so small, his make me *gasp* Poor Bun lacking in the ear department.
I don’t know, Lintini, I think Bun’s ear are more than sufficient to be adorable! Calypso’s ears are kind of short, too, although I never noticed until I got Echo, with her huge uppity ears. lol
PS Cotton is sooo cute! I think I’m addicted to her pics. And, you’re right, jnc, she does have that same sweet little pudgy faced thing as Chubs.
Well I am definitely jealous of your rose bush growing skills. I can’t even get my palm trees to grow in FLORIDA!!! heheh… I seriously want to just snuggle the heck out of Cotton’s little face in that second picture!!!!
