I am 99% sure that my little guy hates vegetables, haha. I gave up trying a few months ago but we had a scare with GI stasis a few weeks back so I’ve really been pushing them again… but to no avail. It’s getting super frustrating, my goodness!
He eats hay like there’s no tomorrow and gets a tiny little bit of pellets (less than half of a quarter cup per day), and then for treats he gets one raisin in the morning and one at night. All of those he is super into and gets very excited for, but I just can’t get him into his veggies. I’ve tried spring mixes, field mixes, arugula, romaine, red leaf… I feel like I’m out of lettuces to try!
Anyone have any advice for an insanely picky boy? I thought arugula would do the trick since I had read somewhere that picky buns tend to favour them, that so far has been a no go. I’ve just been putting the leaves in his bowl overnight hoping he might nibble, but I just seem to wake up to a pile of untouched arugula (if he hasn’t decided to throw them all over the floor!).
Someone haaaalp!
