  So I was in Petsmart today buying some treats for the bunnies and I noticed the price of Oxbow hay…15 oz! It must have been priced wrong, but still when I saw this I was like what the heck!!

  Yikes! Definitely priced wrong. You can get a 50 pound box for that price.

  I probably would have brought it to someone’s attention – accidents happen and would have been nice to just bring this to their attention otherwise their stock is going to go bad…if they don’t do anything at that point, well, you’ve been a compassionate consumer and that’s all you can do.

  If it’s a mistake, it must be nationwide. I went to a Petsmart about a month ago outside Richmond, VA and the small bag of oat hay was $15. I didn’t understand it at all given the online price they advertise is about $6. I remember the other hay being really expensive too.

  Yeah… Petsmart is very expensive. I could get 40 pounds of hay for $7 from a local farmer.
