Pepper and Piglet Random Video

These video’s were taken of Pepper and Piglet pre-parenthood.

Their play area is quite differenet now. The hutch was exchanged for a bungalow 5 times the size to accommodate the babies and allow extra room. The lovely covered chair in the second vid has been eaten, atleast the cover has, I might recover it and make more pillows. The day bed has now been thoroughly lived on (lucky I made that and the pillows too, so it might return with new covers and pillows) and the pillows eaten. The table and terrarium has been removed as have the books, feng shui compass and boxed nautical navigation tools (which no longer have a box thanks to Piglet knocking it flying in a Binkie Bomb)

Oh, The have also destroyed the brightly coloured sisal mouse you see briefly. It is one of their favourite toss toys.

Soon I will get my sun/spa room back and the buns will have a plush custom built bunny room off the lounge.

Piglet is a french angora… Not sure if he is full or X as he was rescued from a free-range situation. But he has the size, shape, markings and fur.

Piglet is a boy and a French Angora, Pepper is a girl (although at the tie I thought she was also a boy) and is a Silver Marten.

Believe it or not the day bed and the cane chair and the ottoman you can’t see in the vid cost less than $100. I got the bed base from the Salvo’s for $25 (don’t need the mattress and the bases are generally in good condition), the chair and the ottoman I took from a kerbside collection so I only had to buy the fabric and the pillow inserts. The fabric cost less than $3 per meter in the upholstery section of our local haberdashers. That and a staple gun and sewing machine which I already had.

Ooh, I really wanted an angora before I got Belle.  It was just easier and less expensive to get a little lop and I’m glad I did ’cause I wouldn’t trade her for the world  He is a beautiful little bun and so is pepper!!
