I woke up this morning around 7, petted the cats, let out Penelope, and attempted to start working on cleaning the house, but I felt like complete crap so I decided to go back to bed for a little bit. WELL, to my surprise, I woke up to Penelope licking my face and attempting to dig through my hair!
Now let me explain, Penelope has her own room, and I keep a baby gate up when I’m not going to be watching her, which I had done before I went back to bed. Somehow, Penelope managed to get over the baby gate!
I’m not entirely sure how she did it, but from what I can tell, it looks like she pushed one of her boxes up against the gate and used that to jump over or on top of the gate. Penelope is not a large rabbit, she really could have hurt herself (getting her leg caught or something) but I checked her over, didn’t see or feel anything out of the ordinary, and she isn’t acting in pain, so I guess it’s ok to laugh
Obviously she scared me when she woke me up, so when I woke I’ve moved very suddenly and I guess rolled halfway on her (which is why she’s not allowed to sleep with me in the first place) and scared her. So once I figured out what was going on I went in search to find her and calm her down. What I found was VERY picture worthy, so here it is:

She’s not supposed to be back there either! (hence the cord and the NIC cubes!) And she’s pissed at me because I scared her? She’s the one in all these places that she’s not supposed to be!!
