I think it all just depends on you and your bun(s) unique needs
Forgive me if anything I say is wrong; I’m a novice bunny mom just trying to do my best.
Sure, there are some hallmarks of a good quality pellet (high min fiber percentage, hay-based, certain vitamins, etc.) but I think SPS and oxbow both have great pellets. I don’t think anyone on the forum would say either pellet is a bad choice
.
I feed oxbow because it was what the shelter I called originally recommended and I saw some great reviews here and elsewhere. Also, there are a few varietie: young, adult, garden select, organic, etc. My bunnies love oxbow
Julie gets the young pellets. Jake gets a mix of the adult and the garden select.
I’ve never tried the SPS pellets; however, we have tried their hay and many of their toys before. They’re a very nice company: prompt replies, personal emails, etc. Plus, Jake loved everything we got from them
I’m sorry I couldn’t get a definite answer. They’re both great quality pellets and I think you and your bun (s) will just need to try and see which works best
