So Ophelia has a small spot on the side of her tummy that has not regrown fur since she was shaved for her spay. I’m wondering why that is? The skin is completely bare, no fuzz or anything. Her fur has regrown everywhere else. Any ideas why this spot won’t regrow?

Luna was spayed in late February and she’s still working on re-growing all of her tummy fur. Most of it has grown back in, but she still has two little bald spots .

It took my female almost a year to regrow her hair back on her belly after being spayed. It still is pretty short

Substantial bun fur growth happens during moult periods, so chances are you won’t see any significant growth until then.

Oh ok! Does anyone else think the tummy was so cute all shaven? Eeeep!

My kitty recently got his tummy shaved for an ultrasound. Good thing he loves belly rubs because I just want to rub it all day. So adorable. It’s regrowing now, though.

My bun was spayed yesterday and I think the bald look is super cute. But my 3 year old daughter wasn’t best pleased to see it today and said to me “trixie was so fluffy and now she’s got no fluffy”. Paid absolutely no attention to the incision, just the lack of fur. I’d better not tell her it could take a while to come back
