Hey guys,so I just ordered some Oxbow Papaya Fruit Plus tablets, after reading and hearing about how the papain and bromelain can aid so much in digestion. Theodore hasn’t been having any issues with this, but I figured it might be a good idea to get some anyway. Why not, right?

I’m wondering how much I should give him daily, weekly. One person on the internet said she gives her rabbits one each a day, but I don’t want to overdo it. Does anyone use these or a similar product? What’s the best dosage?

        Thanks!

I don’t really use these to really aid my rabbits digestion, I sort of think of them as a healthy treat with benifts I guess.

My bunnies go CRAZY for these, and they usually get 1/2-1 each a day.

I agree about the “healthy treat with benefits” thing that Mocha said, so there is a very general range on the right “dosage.”
I tend to give my bunny (Roxi won’t eat them) one per day.

I give my rabbits one in the morning and one in the evening with their pellets. There have been times when I quit using them because I ran out and both of my rabbits would get those types of poops. I think they really help with that. They are definitely like a treat and love them. The bottle says one to 2 a day.

Thanks for the tips guys! I think I’ll start with one a day. Theodore literally almost never gets any other sort of treats aside from thr occasional herbs – I’m like that super health-conscious bunny parent, haha. So it will be nice for him to get something a little special.
