I just had to share this with others  who would appreciate it since I’m pretty sure I’ve bored my friends to death with bunny talk lately haha. Oreo and I just weathered our first bad storm and tornado warning in the new apartment and home alone. While we were hiding out in the bathroom, I reached into her carrier to pet her and she took my finger in the mouth very gently and looked at me like “Mom! I’m scared!” Although it broke my heart to see the fear on her face, that was the first time she’s been truly gentle with me and it really touched my heart. She’s always been the kind of bunny that means well but is a little over enthusiastic with nips or scratching. So for her to do something so gentle and trusting made my heart melt. I’m always amazed by the things she does to make me fall in love with her all over again And thankfully the storm passed without event.

Any other heart melting bunny moments out there?

That’s so sweet. Just when we think they don’t love us they show a sweet moment.

Gabby has become more standoffish since we brought Thumper home to be her husbun. She doesn’t like to be touched lately but the other day after I gave them their raisins treat she put her head down and Thumper laid his head by hers. She let me pet her forehead a few moments before scampering off.

            AWWW!

I’ve probably mentioned this many times before…

When Chacha was still a little tyke (I feel like such a parent LOL!) and was frightened of me – I cried one night. I had gotten into a fight with my boyfriend and I was missing my mom. I went to sit in Chacha’s pen and I cried.

She was playing around and stopped all of a sudden. She flopped right in front of me.

That is when I knew.. she became one of the love of my life I knew she would always be there for me.

It is so sweet when they do something unexpected and show that they really do love us and depend on us.

When I was sleeping on the floor, there was one night where I was bawling cause of my back, being off work, having no money, missing Eddie, being lonely….well, life basically sucked. And usually when I start crying, Lolli (and Eddie too) would have no clue what was going on with and why there was water leaking out of my eyes. Seriously. They would give me that “OH MY GOD She’s leaking again!!!” look and then hop to safety under something. LOL But this particular time, and maybe cause I wasn’t blubbering while crying, but Lolli hopped over, sniffed at me and then gave me kisses on my forehead. It was like she was telling me “It’s ok, momma!” So how do I react? I promptly starting crying over that. LOL Eddie was my little lovebug, so for her to give me kisses was so super special.
