OOOWWWWWW!!!!!

 I hope nothing in this is against the rules.  I’m going to be very vague……

I was snuggling with Lolli tonight.  When I rolled over on my side and moved her from my chest to her customary place on my arm, I got scratched.  In a very sensitive place.  And it bled.  And hurts sooooo BAD!!!  It’s now been a 1/2 hour and it still hurts!  OOOWWWW!!!   I couldn’t find the neosporin but I washed the area and but a bandaid on.  I’ll be buying some more neosporin tomorrow and applying it.  But man that smarts.  LOL  

Anyone else have any scratch horror stories?

When I’m home, I wear a lot of cami’s and tank tops. So that’s how it happened. LOL Once winter comes, I’ll be layering as it’s always cold at my dads.

I used to have bite marks on my upper chest area from Eddie nipping me and leaving a bruise. And my friend has a scar on her upper chest from Eddie scratching her. Both of us looked like we’d been attacked when we first got our bunnies – scratches galore. LOL  

I noticed one day that I had 3 very small bruises on my inner arm.  Took me a while to figure out that they were from Lolli.  When she sits on my inner arm (with me on my side), her nails dig into my skin.  I didn’t have scratches or anything.  Just those 3 tiny bruises.  

And when she nips, she generally means business too.

Hahaha! Lolli used to nose bump my rear. LOL They’re just goofy sometimes. I’ve had my boobs scratched before but this was just……in a really BAD place to get scratched. lol And I was thinking today at work how awkward it’s gonna be when I start healing and it itches. LOL Man, the things we go through for our little furbutts! hehe

Hannah nipped DH pretty hard in the nipple one time. She used to climb on our laps, then start digging at our clothes and she’d eventually try to nip at the fabric, but would get skin underneath. DH didn’t make her stop in time and she took a big nip at his nipple. LOL She looked so distressed when he yelled.

Stickers gave me a long line of scratches on my chest because I was wearing a tank top and picked her up to put her back in her area after run time, didn’t quite bleed but you could see the blood underneath. Looked like i’d been mauled by a cat.

I have faint scars on my chest from a rabbit I had in 6th grade that kicked me. I scar very easy- and this was over 15 years ago! I also have a ugly scar on the back of my hand from Schroeder- when I went to pick him up, he kicked out and kicked the top of my hand- it was a wide scratch that took the skin off- not very deep- but I could tell by looking at it that I was going to scar- and boy did it ever.
My arms and hands are covered in scars from my own pets and working at a vet clinic. I have pale skin- so after the injury heals- the scars are bright red for months and then they finally fade to white. Sun makes my scratches scar much worse.
I have finally given up on caring about the crazy criss cross random scars on my hands and arms.

I will never forget- one time when I was working at the vet clinic- a girl in her mid 20’s brought her cat in for routine vaccs- she went to pull her cat out of the carrier and it climbed up to her shoulder and she was wearing a cami-tank top. She had some nasty angry looking scratches on her chest (well above boobs)- but the worst part was that she said she was to be in a wedding in 3 days wearing a strapless dress. Poor girl.

My friend has a scar on her boob from Eddie. LOL She picked him up and he scratched her. I don’t scar per se, but I have fair skin so anything that happens – zits, scratches, bruises, etc. – tend to stay around and look ugly for a long time. Takes forever for everything to fade.

I bought some neosporin on Friday and applied it that night. Thank God for neosporin cause the scratch looks pretty healed now. Knock on wood, but I don’t think it’s going to itch too much. LOL But now I have a mark from the freaking bandaid on my boob. Sigh. SEEEE!!?? Well…..not like anyone is gonna be looking. I didn’t think my boob/nipple was ever going to quite burning/stinging though. LOL And I didn’t realize I could use those words. haha

Seriously – they are so lucky they are cute!

Ouch!!!
2 days ago I had Huckles cornered and was plucking and brushing her. She decided to fight back and took a nip… I was wearing my short shorts and was squatting in front of her, so she got a good nip of inner thigh. I have a little pink bite mark still.

I’ve only been bitten once and it was from Bun. I gave her a little dwarf sized noogie ….(yeah it’s okay you can laugh) …and she faced up at the palm of my hand and bit me! I bled a tiny bit haha!

Needless to say I will never give a bunny a noogie ever again.
