Like fast!   Or maybe it’s just stress from work from the past 2 days.  I dunno but as I was snuggling with Lolli tonite, I was talking to her.  Asking her how her day went, telling her she was pretty, telling her that grandpa will be taking care of her next month while I’m on vacation, that I need kisses cause I got a boo boo on my finger…..see?! (while I hold my finger in front of her eye)…………………

Yes, I have officially lost my mind and I need socialization.  In my defense, at that point I was just being silly with her, but I am still aware of how completely nutty I was.   As soon as I did that, I told her I had lost my mind and she pretty much agreed.  She had that look.  LOL

        Oh my…..

Someone PLEASE tell me I am not the only one who does silly things like that every once in a while.

Yeah, but do you lift your injured finger to their eyes and tell them you got a boo boo? LOL

I always lecture the bunnies on how lucky they are when I feel stressed out from cleaning, paying bills, etc. or when I have a horrific day at work I come home and I’m like “you guys are SOOOO lucky you don’t have to deal with all that bs…”

Oh I know. What’s really funny is when Lolli will do that long suffering sigh. Like HER life is soooooooo hard. LOL I always tell she doesn’t get to sigh cause her life isn’t hard – what with food being hand delivered and being warm and safe, etc.

I got asked today if I was going to end up as “the crazy bunny lady”. I replied that I already was! hahaha

I tell them exactly what I’m doing that day: “I have to go to school, boys, and then mommy has to go to the gym and then I will come home and give you your veggies and refill your hay and give you lovies, okay?” Except it usually takes me like 5 minutes to tell them about it. Haha!

lol I talk to my rabbits and my bird – maybe they can’t understand all the words, but they can understand your tone. The bird usually gives me kisses if I had a bad day, when I fight with the boyfriend the bird will stand on my shoulder and nuzzle me while SCREAMING at him for being mean to his mommy. lol The rabbits will usually come over and be like “fine, you can pet me, see the sacrifices I make for you?” I also tell Powder what I am doing when I get him ready for bed – like “Here is you some nice fresh hay, let me go get your pellets, just be a minute. Ok I have to clean your box now, no you can’t argue with me, it’s gross” (he usually comes over when I go near the box and tries to get the scoop from me)

I talk to the bunnies! I don’t usually tell them all the details of my day, but I do tell them how I’m feeling as soon as I get home. lol

I also tell them how easy their life is, especially when I’m stressed out. Sometimes it makes me feel better to imagine my life as a bunny. Haha

Whenever I have a bad day, Hopscotch lets me hold him and hug him and he sits on my lap for a lot longer than he normally would. I know that bunnies can tell when you are stressed out and I think that they do really want to be there for you

My dad to Chacha: You have it so goood! Other rabbits are in tiny cages and don’t get to run around and do what they want!!!

One of the person’s in charge at work (that helps the cashiers out when they’re having problems with customers) saw me when I got on for my shift and said “HI BUNNY LADY!”

I always am happy when I get home from work and lay down with Chacha. I say “Hey Chacha bumba.. how was your day? Were you lazy? Did you poop out of your box again? Did you bother grandpa?”

I work from home by myself most days so my bunnies are my furry little co-workers. I don’t have anyone else to talk to

or when rornikka spill their hay everywhere, or they’re being picky and leave a bunch of hay at the bottom of their basket… I’m like “HEY. WHO PAYS FOR THIS HAY, HUH? who goes to work to buy this? do you? hmmmmm?? there are tons of bunnies out there who don’t get hay at all, and here you are just leaving it all over the place…”

then I stop and wonder if this is how my parents felt when I was a kid. hahaha

Hahaha, I can relate to so much of this! Telling them how my day went, explaining to them what I’m going to do when I go out, scolding them for being wasteful, telling them how unappreciative they are…the first thing out of my mouth when I get home is always “hellooo bunna babies!”

No body is nuts we just love our bunnies. I think I am nuts and have been told by family memebers that I am nuts. I talk to my bunnies all the time and sometimes I think they are talking back to me. I sometimes would rather talk to my bunnies then some humans because they don’t talk back to you.

Good to know I’m not alone.

Eddie was a little….codependent…….so he got a little stressed when I left him. So I got into the habit of telling them where I was going whenever I left the apartment and when I’d be back and that they’d be fine and to be good. lol Lolli doesn’t seem to care if I leave or not – just as long as she gets her bye bye treats.

And I’ve gotten into “fights” with both of them. They’d do something naughty (imagine that), I’d get mad and scold them, they’d get mad back. Eddie would flick me off and thump at me while Lolli would thump and growl. It takes A LOT for Lolli to thump at me though. Eddie would flick me off just for looking at him. lol

Since Eddie passed away, I’ve made it a habit to hang out with Lolli and talk to her. Mostly she just looks at me for a second in curiosity – you know, to make sure i don’t have food – and then hops off, but I can tell she likes me hanging out with her. I am always absolutely thrilled when she’ll flop and hang out with me outside her box. haha

When I get stupid comments from customers at work (me asking customers to leave their DAMN huge beer packs on the cart and them giving stupid things like: “You need the exercise anyway.” Thanks punk, try doing my job daily) and go home, it makes me forget about my hard day when I see Chacha. I realize how spoiled she is (and she deserves it) and how much i love her.

I call her weird names like Chacha McFluffy bun, Cutie Mccutie butt, etc. I talk in a high pitched voice at her and my dad doesn’t say anything about when I do that HAHAHA

A couple weeks ago I was scooping up Momo’s dirty litter from the floor of her cage and giving her a looong lecture the whole time about how annoying it was to constantly be doing this, how she is lucky to end up in such a good home, on and on and on. Our roomie was like “You have officially lost your mind, haven’t you?”
