You know I got a strong somache n all.   I have seen animals slaughtered for food n a horse put down. I saw part of Ruby’s spay surgery.

        But this.

OK the april 2010 animals cops houston.   I just watched a horse die.  IT was on the ground for 2 days b4 anyone called aspca.

It died from abuse.   I just cannot fathom mans inhumanity to man much less other beings.  I won’t describe what this looked like.

I have never cried watching  Animal Cops.   Til today.   And I watch a lot of animal cops.

You know…..  I have one regret in life.  I had the opportunity to go to college and become anything I wanted to be.  A vet in particular.

I squandered that opportunity.  Now I have health problems I can’t stand very long or walk that far without pain.  Can’t sit that long.

I would like to go back to school but these health issues are holding me back.

People don’t squander your future finish  school.  Go to college.  I know not all of us can go to college due to different personal situations. Just do your best.

whats funny a big issue with becoming a vet what scared me was needles.  I would pass out any syringe came near me   rofl.   Could you imagine a vet passed out on the floor from trying to give an animal an injection  rofl.

What just scared me was Cotton is flopped in his box.  I didn’t really see his tummy moving as he breathed.  I stared and saw him move.  Phew.  Cotton don’t you go n die on me now.  OH he is out cold.  HIs eye is open and he isn’t moving.  lol.  OH there he went he moved his head

Hey last nite I was petting him he fell asleep and his mouth was twitching.  lol.  Oh Boo.

I am so glad Ruby is done shedding      My precious Ruby.

I can’t watch that show very much either. But I usually start crying when they are able to rescue and heal the animals and you can tell how grateful the animal is. I know it sounds weird, but they truly look grateful.

Man is the most horrible creature on earth in terms of how we treat each other and other animals.

I would be such a mess watching that show. Sad and angry and then depressed…I’m glad I don’t watch much cable.
But no matter where I go I see examples of cruelty. I was cruising the Yorkie website yesterday and one of the front page articles was about some jerk who left their senior yorkie outside in subfreezing temps by the door of the animal shelter because they didn’t want him anymore. He was seriously ill and then frostbitten and hypothermic in the 20 degree weather, so when the workers got there-even though they tried to help him, he was already too far gone, so- they wound up having to put him down. (this was in Staten Is.) I just don’t understand how people can treat animals that way.

I think of how hard I work to make sure my animals are the most comfortable they can be. Jenna is always dressed to the nines before we even venture a toe out the door. I bring her back in the minute I see her shivering. I bend over backwards to give my bunnies their every desire. My animals are sometimes more company than the people I live with…why can’t more people see pets as fellow creatures??
