Hi Guys its me, Olly Rabbit, yesterday I was in my playpen and Mummy brought in her massage mat because Arthritis was hurting her neck and shoulders, she said she didn’t want any painkillers because they sometimes hurt her tummy, the only place for Mummy to use the mat is in here in our room, not the kitchen or bathroom we don’t use lounge for lots of reasons, ‘Bump, bump, bump.’ Went the machine, I was watching, then Mummy put it so it only did her shoulders and back it went, ‘Bump bump bump buzz, bump, bump bump, buzz.’ I didn’t like it and dived into cage under my hay, Mummy knows frightened rabbits go in burrows to hide if they are scared, so Mummy thought it was this, I came out and showed I was scared, my sad face and shake a bit, Mummy wants to know what we can do about this? She needs the machine for pain.

Is there any way you could get him used to the sound gradually? My guess would be his instincts tell him its another rabbit thumping, signalling danger. But animals can get used to environmental sounds if there’s no association to danger, or else wild rabbits couldn’t live in cities, and they do.

The only other option I can think of would be to move Olly into the kitchen or bathroom, but he’d probably still hear the bump-bump-bumps.
