Gax-X has the anti-gas compound simethicone. Sometimes you can find just the anti-gas without the acid reduction medicine.

What is cold remedy? Rabbits don’t really get colds like we do.

I’m interested too. It is better left to a vet to check out and prescribe medicine for your rabbit, rather than diagnosing and treating things yourself.

yes – bunnies can’t take human cold medicines – are there some symptoms that are concerning you?

if the gas-x is the regular kind, you should be able to exchange it for the children’s kind. you should be able to find it in the baby aisle.

no he is fine I had seen some bunny antibiotic for colds  says pasturella I think on it.  and one for wounds at a pet store. so I figured they were ok if a problem ever came up. it was thought of as a precaution to have handy in case he got sick in the future.

I wouldn’t give my rabbit any medications unless the vet prescribed them and dosed them for you. I’ve never seen one over the counter for this either.

Also you would want your vet to do a culture and sensitivity test if you suspect an upper respiratory infection.

By the way, I found smithecone at a 7-11 at 1am last night. It was something named “Mydinol” I believe. It was “children’s anti-gas medicine”. Gotta tell you, that was a miracle in itself.
