the lady I got Ruby from is closing her mini rabbitry.  She is parting with all of them even her beloved siamese sable girl.

She has a few beauties left.  She said she would spay/neuter  if we want.  Ohhh I so want one of her bunnies.  A frosted pearl She has several young ones.

However what if mine won’t get along with it.  Ruby can be very picky herself.  And well we all know Cotton is veeeery jealous of me giving any other bun attention.  Besides it has never worked out with more than 2 buns so  I have to forget about getting one.

I am sad for my friend. I am surprised this has happened. However I am keeping a website of one of her friends for in the future when mine go to the RRB.  By that time a lot of things can change.

Oh my, it must be hard to resist! But I sure know how hard it is to have separated bunnies and then to add another into the mix…oye! So I completely understand and appreciate why you have to say no to yourself. Sometimes the best gift is no gift.

Hopefully, since it was a small business, she will be able to find wonderful loving homes for them all.

Oh it is soooo hard when you want another bunny but dont want to “rock the boat” with the other bunnies. Hope it works out for everyone xx

She only has a few left now.   OH my yes it is hard to say no.   I am going to have to quit going to her website and quit torturing myself.

There are some beautiful little frosted pearls 2 months old ohhhh.   I know 3 don’t work out for me tho.  Ruby doesn’t get enuf attention as it is I think.  Ruby is such a lady too.

I was on computer last nite with her on my chest.  She kept digging and nipping me cuz I wasn’t giving her Highness all my attention.

I can understand your temptation. I often contemplate getting another but having 3 of them takes up so much time and money already.

Cotton loves and adores you so much that it sounds like he does not want to share you.  Until you get his chin problem cleared up you don’t want anything to stress his immune system and him being upset about another bunny, being territorial or jealous could affect him.

I know it is tough to look at cute faces and say no- especially when they are your “dream color”- but having 2 rabbits that get along decently has convinced me NOT to get another bunny.  Life is so much easier without poo and pee wars.

Yes those poo and pee wars.  That is what i would have to look forward too. Plus extra work cleaning litterboxes and another bunny to insure.  and groom and feed and clean up after.  Oh gee never mind.      Besides I promised hubby I wouldn’t get another til 1both of mine passed to the RRB

Yikes  Don’t need the  hassle.   Yes keep reminding me    I know she can find good homes for them.  Haven’t heard from the girl though.  I am hoping her Mom didn’t make her part with them.   It has to be alot of work for her though.  all 7-12 rabbits shedding needing brushings food cleaning.  They were indoor buns too.

I didn’t go to her site yet today.  Thats a good thing.

I was going to suggest that for the weekend, when you get the urge to go to her site, come here instead. Like Jersey’s siggy said, “I’m a Bunaholic.” You know it isn’t just that Cotton is clearly not OK with other rabbits, even Ruby, but it’s also your living situation requires you to periodically keep the bunnies in a low profile. You tried to hide three before and it was so stressful for you. If many of her bunnies are already rehomed, then the rest will find new families who will learn how wonderful it is to have a bunny in their lives. Tell your friend to advise the new slaves to join BB – we’ll share the love.

so true 3 x  a year I have to fret and stay home so Ruby isn’t stuck in the closet longer than necesary.   That does stress me out.  If housing suddenly shows up at my door 2 are just too much work to hide.

They only showed up once unexpectedly.  Some bozo called them and said I have hay all over the house all over the floors.  Housing came and I did good scooping up Ruby hiding her and covering her cage.  But with 1 more.  STRESS.

I was so glad they came and saw my house was real clean though.  And I wasn’t expecting them at all.  They were impressed my home was so clean considering I have a rabbit inside.  Good. that made a good impression.  And they saw the litterboxes were used too.

In fact Jenny said she was surprised it was so clean in here.
