Oh Happy Days!

[Tipsy Bunny]

 It seriously feels like forever since I have been on!  I am in the process of deleting my facebook account and also in the process of building my bunny blog!  (http://tipsyrabbit.blogspot.com/)

anyways, just a funny instance occurred just now as I was cleaning Tipsy’s cage.  I bring in the plastic bag, grab the pooper scooper, and it was like the *hint hint* for Tipsy to come over and mess with whatever I was doing at the moment.  I go to scoop up some bedding/poop and she sneaks in between my legs (I was crouching) and hops in to her cage.  I just maneuvered around her, but she evaded that, pushed the scooper with her nose, and knocked out everything in the scooper!!!  After I clean that, she follows me to her litterbox, and as I get ready so scoop that, she sits in it and wont get out!  Apparently, she likes her sleeping quarters, and her toilet as dirty as possible… I have a very dirty bunny on my hands… It was just too funny I could not help but laugh at her!

I love my bun.

Do all bunnies get this excited about cleaning time?

Mine does! He takes it so personally when I remove *anything* from his condo or front yard area, whether it’s poop, kibbles he didn’t eat or a piece of hay! I make a game of it sometimes. I’ll move a toy or some hay over about a few inches and within seconds, he’s hopped over to nudge it all back into place.

I have a mini dustpan and broom that I use to sweep hay and poos out of their condos. Bindi and Stormy get really mad and growl at it for some reason. Silly bunnies. Sometimes I get pummeled by Olivia while cleaning. She’s very possessive and doesn’t want me messing with her stuff.
