rofl… oh hhh   I am no longer surprised at the insanity of windows vista and IE 8 

I am installing hp photosmart right.  Then I get this update thing when I am finished.   It says to go to such n such for the compatible one for vista and 8    so I do.   I install or so I am thinking.   Then after run is clicked twice as is normal

get this    the stupid thing comes up for me to keep or delete the clip and uninstall what I just installed.  WHA!!!!!

Then I hit the x to close this silliness and guess what the next box says.   To finish installing i need to  uninstall what I just installed    ?

 

I am so confused.   Now I know I am pretty computer savvy  with my desktop  but this is I don’t know.    weird.  I dont’ know if I should uninstall to finish installing or what .  Now why would I uninstall what I just updated to continue an installation?    IT also says to do this uninstall and I may want to install it in the future but keep the clips 

I think this thing is cursed.  I am going to have nightmares about this laptop I can see it now.  It is coming after me opening and shutting itself like a mouth trying to eat me.

Sorry if you are tired of my computer problems but I thought maybe someone would get a laugh out of it.  By the way I love these smileys and enjoy using them.  Now I am laughing

Huh?  I decided to uninstall   so the new box says   drum roll…………

uninstalling and validating install      OK

 

Now it says uninstalled and to install at a later date.

Computer problems are a nightmare! That is strange to make you delete and uninstall something you just did…..weird! Maybe restart and try again? Or call the help #? Good luck!

i’m a big fan of calling the help lines. talking to someone is so much easier than trying to figure out what the heck is going on.

I tried to reach hp but I can’t figure out how.  

I am just going to put windows photo as my default.    I tried to copy and hp won’t copy paste  so as on my xp  I tried to save them to snapfish too.    Guess what happens with that.     Snap fish says the photos need to be in jpeg format.   rofl… 

I  put the memory card into my hp printer connected to my xp desktop and snapfish has no problem with uploading the pics from hp photo place. 

So I suppose I just have to chanage my default and hope that works.  IF not I will uninstall hp photo from here.

I find everytime I install something  the comp goes haywire.  So  I just won’t install.

by the way I never heard back from firefox.  I have heard there are a lot of problems with vista.  No kidding.  Ah whatever

Oh and gateway won’t help me cuz this is a software problem and I need to pay them to help me.  HA  that will be the day

BT, I hope your computer stops acting up, that you can get it working right. I would be frustrated too.
Yes, helplines are great… but they find a way to make you pay.
