(Not sure I posted this is the right place so feel free to move it)

Hi all, I have a question about my bunny. So me and my bunny were on my bed. He was laying down and I was petting him then he started doing this weird thing. He started making this kind of clicking sound and whenever he made it he also slightly twitched his head. I’m getting pretty worried so could someone tell me what it means?

What kind of twitching do you mean? Rabbits often shake their as an invitation to play when there excited, and sometimes then followed with a binky. My rabbits are always eratcily twitching and jumping when they are happy.

Did you maybe have a video of him doing this to figure out if it’s likely that it something else?

Did it seem like his head was sort of vibrating? It sounds like a rabbit “purr” to me, where they grind their teeth softly to indicate that they are relaxed and comfortable. The clicking sound is actually teeth rubbing against each other.

Does it look something like this? https://www.instagram.com/p/Bj3R-6MF2u1/?taken-by=kurotta.bun

I am a new bunny mom, but I also noticed my bunny,Snowflake, clicking her teeth when I pet her and I read that it is tooth purring. Similar to a cat purring because they are content. She also twitches when she is excited and happy to be around me, before feeding, and roaming/binkying.
