I think the best way to start a picture thread is with destruction.

 So I’ve been sick since Friday and my (bleep) Dr called in a known RX that I am allergic to and then promptly went out of town. I don’t dare go near an urgent care over the weekend so no meds for me. Grrr. At least I have this guy to make everything right in the world.

 Please tell me you have treats…

    Cuz eating hay from the outside of the box is so much easier.

I am puppy-sitting a 5 months old Pomeranian and it’s going a little something like this…

Puppy: OH a furry friend? Can I play with you??! Do you want to play with me???!! Hurro!!!

Whoa… easy there puppy… maybe just some sniffing first…

Simba: Honestly, I just want to eat my pellets in peace 

Simba was such a good sport about sharing his space with the puppy even though he had no interest in becoming friends with the excited (probably annoying) visitor… but just in case he was secretly resenting me for it… I reminded him that he’s still king of his home hehe

Aaahh mijOok! I love the crown. Too cute! Bunny Daddy, that is a lot of destruction! LOL. Miss D, um cutest bunny flop ever! AL doesn’t fully flop like that. He keeps his head up still. I can’t wait for the day he fully lets himself pass out. Ha!    Edit: AL is taking advantage of my relaxing sick days too. bunnybutt!!

BunnyDaddy, the hay on the face is perfect. And I love that white nose!!

Merida was in full explorer mode this morning- I had to keep chasing her away from the box of oatmeal packets… and the fridge, and the pile of rocks in the living room… (I’m a geologist lol)

Does anyone else have a bun that will ignore a certain object/area in the room to lull you into thinking the area is pretty well bun-proofed, and then decide that ALL she wants to do it eat/dig/explore that object/area?

Bunny Daddy: Those are some messy buns you have there! That little white nose might make up for (some of) it though.

Kbana: I hate it when doctors do stupid things like that. Perhaps it’s time to find a new one?  I love Al’s mane. It’s like a mullet, a cute mullet. You can’t say that often!

MissD: I want to poke that little belly! He looks so squishy and relaxed.

mijOok: At least Simba doesn’t seem bothered by the the pup. How long are you sitting him? And that crown! Haha, I love it.

 Dwarf: Merida agrees with Ox it seems, house-rabbit life is really difficult.

ALRIGHT, photo spam time. This were all taken the day after halloween. Ox got super grumpy with me and refused to leave the litter box until after I’d put the camera away.

Tribble couldn’t escape the humilia- er photoshoot either.

 

(In case you were wondering, Ox is a manly man and Tribble is a merpom.)

MissGabbster – I was genuinely surprised by how Simba wasn’t bothered by the pup at all! I’m sitting him for 3 weeks! I LOVE your photo spam of absolute cuteness hehe

Very cute bunnies, everyone!  I think I finally got pictures to upload – they are .gif, rather than .jpg.

Here’s Cincinnati (I kept the HS name).  He’s very good – always uses his litter box, eats his food, and is gentle with my cat.  

Anyone know what colour he is, or what kind of rabbit he is?  He looks black, but only the tops of his paws, his nose, tail and ears are black.  Everywhere else he is browny-black, with ‘tipped’ hairs.  In some light, he looks frosted with silver – it’s almost white, but really more silver.  What is this called?  He is cat sized.  I used to think that Dutch rabbits were the prettiest (still love them), but now realize that whatever he is is the prettiest.  

Here he is poking his nose out of his pen.  It’s made of two dog exercise pens and flooring, with a plastic fence roof.  He is big, so it is 6’x3′.

Inspired by a craisin he ate moments before, here he is checking the surroundings for more!

I was attempting to get a photo of the trouble bun’s enclosure and the moment I crouched down, they came running to me. 

Like, every single time I crouched down with the camera, they stopped what they were doing, and came to me.

Nala eventually went and hid, so Duchess became the star. It seems like they remembered that when I had the shiny big camera with me, I also had craisins. They never come running when I have my cell phone camera. Unfortunately, I didn’t have any craisins handy this time.

Sally was king of the hill (boxes) she loved climbing to the top and looking over the living room lol 

I ended up making them a cardboard castle out of all the boxes we recently received 

It had three series of tunnels before it would open up to a diggy area. And then you jumped up on a second platform and there was a hole at the top so they could crawl to the very top of the box lol. Harley didnt want to leave the box, they loved it! But it’s now with this weeks trash. Too big and took up half my livingroom. I let them enjoy it for 2 weeks before tossing it out

I’ve been traveling for the last few weeks, so I would receive daily pics of my buns like these:

Two days after his neuter, Oscar started to get a little too wild being locked up in one part of his cage, so we decided it was safer to just let him use the whole thing:

Velvet your cat looks just like my cat Worthy (Ms. Bigglesworthy my son named her). She was 11 and past almost 2 years ago from a rare fast growing cancer. Your bunny is cute as well. Hazel I love those pics of your bun they are funny. hehe

I’m so jealous everyone can take cute pics of their buns! Ziggy does not like the camera, my phone or even the laptop. With the camera or camera on the phone, he hears the click that turns it on and stops whatever cuteness he’s up too! lol! And he only seems to binky in a dark room so I can’t record him! Bugger.
Ziggy had earned cage free time during the night and was sleeping with me in the bed since Sun. Well he sealed his fate last night when he decided to pee the bed!!! Of course he peed on my hand so I could wake up to scrub my mattreess. Good times. Sorry, Zig-bot. Looks like someone needs to get fixed asap!
I do have to say it was pretty adorable sharing a pillow with that little face.

I *did* have a video of me talking to the rabbits about how they made a HUGE mess in their cage that I was going to share, but my phone seems to have deleted the video. However, I recently discovered that with my new iphone, I could take photos while I’m recording, and I was doing exactly that, so I have pictures of them peaking their noses through the bars as I talked to them.

Me “I wouldn’t get so close to the bars, puppy, they’ll bite your tail off. (That’s what the puff of fur is, his tail.)”

Nala “I swear officer, I didn’t make this mess.”

“But what if we act cute?”

Nuggetbuns – Emilee is so adorable!  And how did you do that Eepster?  Very cool.

This is why you have to be very careful before exercising in our house!

And even though Baxter can be a “dictator” at times – they do get along most of the time.
In fact, it’s far more common to find Baxter grooming Boo, than the other way around.

Eepster- OMG, thank you for that! I thought it would be a great gif, but didn’t know how they were made. Emilee is very gifable actually.

Baxter n Boo- Oh my, your boys are getting them in sorts of trouble hiding under gym equipment. At least Boo gets something out of their relationship. I never noticed Boo’s beauty mark on his upper back, has he always had that?
