  Okay. Maybe I’m not gonna give up 100% I think I’ll hint at things about rabbits, talk about facts, etc. BUT, I won’t bother them about it everyday, all day. Do you guys think that’s a good idea? If they still, say no, then I’m done talking about rabbits for a while and I’ll come back to it later.

  I absolutely think it would be good to not talk about rabbits so much for a while. If you don’t talk about rabbits for a long time, and then bring the subject back up again much later, your parents will perhaps realize that this isn’t just a whim, but that you’re seriously interested.

  I think you should respect your parent’s decision. Maybe ask again in 6 months, but don’t continue to hint or it’ll just annoying them.

  I dont think its right to pester your parents, especially passive aggressively by using ‘hints’ and telling them random facts. They clearly dont want a rabbit, and at this point, all you can do is respect that. When you move out and into your own home and have your own job, then you can look into getting a rabbit again
