We’re going to need some more information. What does the discharge look like? Is it clear? White? Any sneezing? What about their paws? Oftentimes, bunnies with runny noses will have gunk on their paws from wiping.

They can also have matted fur on their cheeks, from smearing snot onto their faces when they groom themselves.

Clear discharge can as a rule be monitored. Opaque and/or colored nasal discharge indicates a bacterial rabbit “cold”. It isnt necessarily very expensive to get treatment for (standard treatment is as a rule oral antibiotics like Bactrim or Baytril), but it does require vet attention.

It sounds like your bunnies may have some nasal congestion. Snot or discharge from the nose can be caused by a variety of things, including respiratory infections, allergies, or even just a reaction to changes in temperature or humidity. If the snot is only in one side of the nose, it could be a sign of a foreign object or a abscess. Since you mentioned that you’re a college student and don’t have much money to spend on a vet, I would recommend trying some home remedies to help clear up their nasal congestion. One thing you can try is to humidify their environment by adding a humidifier to their room or by placing a bowl of water near their cage. Another thing you can do is to make sure they’re getting plenty of fresh hay and greens in their diet, as these can help to keep their nasal passages clear. It’s also important to keep their living space clean and dry, and to make sure they have plenty of fresh water to drink.
