When I got Gracie (fuzzy lop) from her debilitated owner, she was so matted and messy in back that i literally couldn’t figure out where her tail was or if she had one. Who knows? Our 11 year old dog rescue came without much of tail and he’s not telling where it went
She had a sanitary shave at the vet. Now that her coat is growing back (black undercoat instead of her cream color
) it’s gorgeous and thick and very wooly back there, but much thinner in front. She’d had fur loss the vet figured was hormonal a month or so ago, so now she’s somewhat sparse in front and beautiful in back. I assume the thick fur is the norm and she will fill out in front, but I can’t figure it out on the internet. Does anyone know ?I’m hoping it’s all thick because she’s so good about grooming and. I love to fuss. Just wish that tummy would straighten out. Bath. Bath. Bath. Except it’s been like 5 degrees here on a warm day, so I don’t want to bathe her as much, even though SHE probably doesn’t know it’s so cold out.
