What do YOU think no bunny person should be without? What is the most important thing in your bunny supplies? Let’s have a fun thread!
.
My pick is NIC cubes! They’re just so handy, and cheap! You can block off cords, or add a shelf to an existing cage, or make an addition to a bun’s habitat.. and you can even use them as intended and make storage out of them.. to store more bunny items, of course!
.
What’s your pick?! ![]()
For bunny proofing, aquarium tubing for cords
Vinegar is up there too
What about bunny fun? Concrete forms are probably the most fun “toy” I’ve bought for them!
A good vet.
I would say NIC cubes for bunny proofing or a maze haven (or similar thing made of boxes) for sleeping in and destroying.

WHere do you get those concrete forms, and what do they look like? I might have to find one! ![]()
And definitely agreed on the vinegar!!!
Sarita; Definitely. I really feel for the people on the board without a good rabbit vet nearby!

I love how bunny people find things for our buns with the intent of destroying it.
. I do that with boxes. “Hmm, Zeus would love to shred this..”. ![]()
I guess mine is the same as Elrohwen’s,
Carboard boxes. This includes maze havens and cottontail cottages.
If I didn’t have those my house would be destroyed and I’d have some angry bunnies. They love their castles.
I just realized that my answer included something to keep them from destroying my things (NIC cubes) and something for them to destroy. I guess that’s the secret of a happy bunny household right there! Haha
Concrete forms are these- http://www.cmcconstructionservices.com/products/shep-tube-concrete-forms/
You can get them at your hardware store, all different diameters for 5-10 bucks. Its a thicker cardboard, so both my bunnies really like to go at it
I have this elaborate plan to make like, a monster burrow with some cardboard box dens once they are both bonded hah.

Idk if I go without a litterbox. I hated having to clean a cage every week and it would be really hard if the bun is free-range. I don’t think it would be the happiest scenario for the bun tho
Hmmm… VEGGIES AND HAY is my #1!
2nd is a good vet & toys, this IS a fun thread!
I think bunny slaves should know eachother alot.
So these threads about what your fave _____.
And question threads are especially fun. ![]()
Craisins…
if you want my fun answer
But importance/serious answer would be :
A good place for bun to live (not some tiny pet store cage!)
Vet
Good hay
Good pellets
Toys
Haha craisins are my secret weapon ![]()
Patience. If you have patience, everything else can slide ![]()
Treats, veggies, and……………….. a blanket over the maze haven. THE. BEST. THING. EVER. according to Lolli. LOL
Patience. If you have patience, everything else can slide
Uhh…Can I ask where you bought yours out…It’s looking like I might need some more…lol O![]()
Good pet insurance for that excellent vet. My brood has all but broken my bank at this point and I can already see serious expense this year on the way.
But more than anything…lots of love and time set aside for them. I find each of my bunnies (probably because they aren’t bonded) really seem to want individual time with me and you can see the ones waiting their turn getting this green glint in their eyes…lol.
I have a list of a couple of things. Hay would be at the top of my list I want my babies to stay really healthy. Vinegar would be at the top as well and Willow Wicker baskets. My bunny kamdyn can not go without it. Also straw mats sunshine loves them a hole lot!
I cannot live without cat beds and cardboard boxes!!
PHONEBOOKS. Nothing pacifies an angry rabbit or stimulates a bored rabbit so much as tearing up those pages.
Simethicone. If you have a bunny long enough, they’re bound to have a gas episode. I always have a bottle in the rabbit room.
And for fun: A Cottontail Cottage.

That’s a good one, most definitely!
Zeus insists I add.. a must have is ALWAYS dried fruit. He prefers pineapple, or apple chips, thank you very much. ![]()
I’m thinking about what I pack in the hurricane bag if we need to evacuate quickly, since I have a separate bag for her. (Can’t pack a vet or that’d be first.)
Litter pan
Litter
Water dish
bottled water if no tap around.
bag of hay
pellets
greens
a food dish or container for food.
carrier
For fun: treat jar to rattle filled with healthy treat cookies. Her fun, that is. ![]()
NIC Grids and Zip Ties, and Asian grocery stores! No joke.. no place else sells chicory and dandelions. I love weekly Asian store runs!
Bah, chacha, I wish we had an asian grocery store around! I can’t find anywhere that sells dandelions.
We have them in the yard during spring/summer but during winter my poor buns must miss their grass / dandelion greens.
Whole Foods sells Dandelion Greens.
I would say NIC cubes and zip ties! if any of you guys know me you know I love to build stuff! but since a lot of people all ready chose that my second thing would be xpens! I use them every time my rabbits come out in the living room to play to block off the kitchen and dining room
The hair buster comb! It has really helped get all that extra hair off Nova. It might not seem as important as some of the others, but I think good grooming can help prevent other problems, like stasis and allergies!
Oh, and a pair of nail clippers you can feel comfortable with. Doesn’t matter what your tool is as long as you feel confident with it. I love my little cat nail clippers!
blankets, a washcloth and baskets. Nova baby loves his soft things and getting facials with a warm-wet cloth. when he gets mad he destroys a basket in a single sitting. my flemmy is such a big softy boy
