  My buns get along really well so far, we haven’t had any problems with fighting or anything. Yesterday, though, I THINK my male rabbit might have nipped my female rabbit when I was petting her. We have this routine where I’ll start petting one of them, the other one will run over and I’ll spread my time petting one several times and then the other, and back and forth. I don’t know if Wally felt like he wasn’t getting enough attention or if I maybe just imagined it, it was really quick. It could have been a nudge. Not sure why he wouldn’t just nudge me if he felt he wasn’t getting enough attention. Trippy occasionally would feel like I was taking too long, so she’d scoot up and lower her head for me to pet it, but that’s the extent of it. Has anyone else experienced this? Am I delusional? I might just be really scared that their really peaceable healthy relationship will go to poop. I’ve just been so thrilled at how sweet they are to each other

  How old are your buns and are they spayed/neutered?

  They are just about six weeks old, very little, so definitely no spay and neuter. But also, they’ve not exhibited any hormonal behavior before except for Wally excessively pooping on a chair he really liked, but that was just hilarious.

  It could have been a nip. Baby bunnies are like human babies in that they like to explore things with their mouths.
  
  You will need to separate your bunnies soon. Males can become sexually mature as early as ten weeks. And if they are living together when they start getting hormonal they’re could be fights. I suggest you keep them housed next to each other where they can still see and smell each other. This will help the re-bonding process after they are spayed and neutered.
