Hello
My bunny Munchie sadly passed yesterday as a result of an overdose (10x) of a drug at her spay. She had lived with my other bunny, Muffin all her life, leaving Muffin as a lone bunny.
I am at school most of the time and my dad goes to work, and my mum rarely goes to see her as she is too busy. When I come home from school, I spend as much time with her as possible, but I feel I’m not giving her enough. Before Munchie’s spay, they were separated for just less than a week. I have seen things about giving them a cuddly toy, but I feel that isn’t the same as a real bunny. I can afford to get another one, but I would feel terrible as it would be like replacing Munchie.
I don’t know what to do… I really don’t want to give her up, but she seems fine as a lone bunny.
What should I do?

I think first things first, give yourself and Muffin time to grieve. Once you have both gotten past the grieving process, then you can think about bonding her with a new bunny
No bun will replace Munchie, but it would be nice for Muffin to have another friend. In the meantime though, a stuffed animal could help as Muffin will be able to groom it.
